Download, installation and contact

Before you can use InitDAE you have to install it. InitDAE uses the algorithmic differentiation tool AlgoPy developed by S. Walter.

Download the packages InitDAE and AlgoPy. You download the new version 2018. If you had used a former version give attention to a few changes of input and output parameters.

Adapt your Python path such that both packages are in the path.

Code (after reading the manual) your DAE and a corresponding main program.

Run your program. We tested our code using the AlgoPy version 0.5.3 or higher. Using linux, we ran it under Eclipse and directly started from the terminal. If you use Spyder, change the execution from an IPython to a Python terminal to avoid trouble with the output .
