Main program: August 8 - 12

The main theme of the workshop will be Symplectic Homology, a package of invariants defined by applying ideas from Hamiltonian and Lagrangian Floer theory in the setting of symplectic manifolds with convex ends or contact-type boundary.

Precourse: August 6 - 7

As with previous installments in the SFT workshop series, the workshop will be preceded on the weekend by a precourse intended to prepare PhD students and other non-experts for the main program. This year's precourse speakers are Sylvain Courte (Uppsala), Jo Nelson (Columbia and IAS) and Alexander Fauck (HU Berlin), who will give short courses on the following topics:
  1. Liouville and Weinstein manifolds (Courte)
  2. Hamiltonian and Lagrangian Floer homology (Nelson)
  3. Introduction to symplectic homology (Fauck)

Registration
