Office hours:	Monday 4-5PM and Wednesday 12-1PM. If you're not available for office hours but need help, feel free to contact me (the easiest way is by e-mail) and make an appointment. You may also stop by my office anytime, but be aware that I'm often not there; it's best to call ahead.

Text:	Calculus (early transcendentals), Fourth Edition, by James Stewart (Brooks/Cole 1999); available in NYU bookstore
Homework:	Problems will be assigned and collected in class on Wednesdays; you'll have a week for each assignment. We will generally set aside the second half of each Wednesday lecture to review homework. Late homework will be accepted up to a week after the due date, but only for half credit. This is not meant as a punitive measure, but rather as an incentive: it's very important to keep up with the homework in this class.
